SUPERTMATIK CHAMPIONSHIP

Once again, our school takes part in this National competition. Many other subjects are also doing it this year!
To choose the two 6th graders going to the final, we practised and made an elimination in our upper-level English group.

We had a lot of fun and all the students were really great at it, but the two best students were:
LEONOR SAMARA 6thB
and
JOÃO FERREIRA 6thD

Congratulations and best of luck to both!

A PORTUGUESE ROCKIN' IN LONDON

The 49 students and teachers that were in London a few days ago had the opportunity to see him live in the musical «We Will Rock You».
It is truly a pride to have a Portuguese playing the lead role in such an important show.
He is a wonderful performer with an INCREDIBLE voice!
Watch the videos to get to know him better:

LEARN FROM MUSIC

Do you usually listen to music in English? Sure!
Do you know what they are singing about? Not always, right?
You can learn a lot from music. Learning can be fun if you use your imagination.
If you have a favourite song, look for the lyrics and try to learn them. If you are going to sing it, so sing it well. If you find words that you don't understand, go and look them up in the dictionary.

For example: the 6th graders had the Present Simple revision made with the Katy Perry song «Firework».

While the 5th graders learn the verb can for the first time by singing the R. Kelly song «I Believe I Can Fly».
